Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is the unique venue in the heart of Amsterdam with an amazing view of the IJ and the city center.

The conference center as well as the hotel are conveniently located in the same building.

Transfer

There is a direct train from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (AMS) to Central Station, which takes 20 minutes. The walk from the Central Station to the IJ Venue ist around 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi.

  • Parking is minimal at the hotel and the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA)

Travel:

  • Any travel must be approved by BU or HUB managers for the business and by global functional managers for the functions.

  • Ensure compliance with all requirements at the destination. You find information on embassy Web pages and also on the webpage of our partner International SOS (ISOS)

  • We recommend downloading the ISOS app from an app store if it is not already installed on your mobile phone.

  • If you need a visa letter from Hitachi Energy to request the visa in your country, please tick the respective box in the registration form.

  • Everyone traveling on behalf of Hitachi Energy should be fully vaccinated per their home country's guidelines and destination requirements. Exceptions to this require two approvals: 1. by the approving manager who acknowledges that the traveler is fit for travel and 2. by the regional security manager who assesses the medical preparedness at the destination.

  • Anyone getting sick during travel shall remain at the destination until recovered, including for medical treatment and hospitalization
